Painter, graphic artist

son of the painter Alexander E. Mackey, a grandson of Joseph watercolor-Edward Mackey. General education in Tomsk gymnasium. He graduated from the Art School in Penza. Advice of KA Savitsky. Apparently, in the early 1900's while attending classes at the Higher Art School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture at IAH. In 1904, attended the Academy R. Julien in Paris.

In 1908 he opened an art studio in Nice.

in 1911-1914 participated in exhibitions of avant-garde group "Ring" in Kharkov.

After the October Revolution of 1917 he emigrated. Doing business in Finland. Later he settled in Prague. He taught at the Kiev Academy of Plastic Arts, professor. One of the founders of the artistic association "Scythians" (1929-1932). In 1933 he moved to Nice.

In 1920-30's participated in exhibitions in Prague, Nice, Paris; exhibitor of the exhibition "World of Art" in a Parisian gallery "Boesi" (1921). Exhibited in the Salon d'Automne and the Salon Tuileries. Held a solo exhibition in Paris (1938).
