From a peasant family. I was in school Princess М. К. Тенишевой (1899-1900), the Higher art school of painting, sculpture and architecture under the Imperial Academy of arts (1900-1908), in the Studio И. Е. Репина. In 1908, for the painting "Triumph of destruction" he received the title of artist.

Lived in St. Petersburg — Petrograd. Worked mainly as a portraitist (portraits of his father, С. А. Далматова; artists В. К. Эшкичевича, Я. М. Каца, Б. И. Яковлева, С. С. Масленникова; В. Я. Лаврова mother, self portrait).

From 1903 — participant of exhibitions (Reporting that the Imperial Academy of arts). Exhibited at the Spring exhibitions in the halls of the Imperial Academy of arts (1904, 1906, 1907, 1910, 1913, 1914, 1916, 1917).
