Worked in the field of book illustration; collaborated in publishing: Goslitizdat, children literature, "Soviet writer", "Truth" and others. She designed the book: "What is the meaning of our name. Glossary of names" (1940), "the Miracle-дерево" К. И. Чуковского (1944), "Protest of beasts" Г. Ромма (1945), "the Knight of the burning pestle" Ф. Бомонта (1956), "Fables and literary parody" А. М. Флита (1958; together with Б. Ф. Семеновым), "Family chronicle" (1960), "On taste" (1966) С. В. Михалкова and others.

From 1926 — participant of exhibitions (1-я art exhibition AHRR, Kostroma branch). Exhibited: caricatures by Moscow and Leningrad artists in Perm (1940), sketches by Leningrad artists (1945), works by Leningrad artists (1948, 1952, 1953, 1961, 1964), "Soviet book" (1962) in Leningrad, all-Union art exhibitions (1951, 1960), Soviet satire (1952), "the Soviet political poster for 50 лет" (1967) in Moscow and others. Held a personal exhibition in Leningrad (1959).

For his activities he was awarded the title of honored artist of the RSFSR.

Work is represented in many Museum collections, including the State Russian Museum.
