he Studied at the Samarkand art school (1947-1949) at the P. P. Benkov Tashkent Republican art College named. П. П. Бенькова (1949-1950, 1953-1957), the Institute of painting, sculpture and architecture named after. И. Е. Репина in Leningrad (1958-1963) on graphic faculty at В. М. Звонцова, В. А. Ветрогонского, М. А. Таранова. In 1963 the diploma work — a series of etchings "Nobody is forgotten, nothing is forgotten".

he Lived in Tomsk. Worked in the techniques of etching, linocut. Performed thematic compositions, landscapes. The author of easel graphic works: "master of the taiga" (1963, linocut), "Tomsk. Outskirts" (1969, etching), "Twilight" (1969, etching); series of etchings "the Wolverine, boreal river", "Tomsk lace" (1969), "the Fires burning" (1970-1974).

was Engaged in monumental and easel painting: "on the road" (1967), "Hard bread" (1967), "the warm lands (crane song)" (1970), "Tomsk Simca".

1959 — participated in exhibitions. A member of the Union of artists of the USSR (1970). Exhibited: all-Union exhibition of etching (1959) in Leningrad; the all-Union exhibition of diploma works of students of art institutes of the USSR (1963), all-Union art exhibition (1965 — "USSR on guard for peace"), the Republican exhibition "Graphics of Siberia" (1968), "Artists of the Urals, Siberia, Far East" (1971) in Moscow; zonal exhibition "socialist Siberia" in Novosibirsk (1964), Krasnoyarsk (1969), Tomsk (1975); regional art exhibitions in Tomsk (1963, 1967, 1970). Participant of several international exhibitions: VII international graphics exhibition in Amiens (1974), "the Graphic art of Siberia" in Paris (1974).

his personal exhibitions were Held in Tomsk (1965, 1978 — in conjunction with Ю. М. Павловым). A posthumous exhibition was held in Tomsk (1980).

Work is represented in several Museum collections, among them — Tomsk regional Museum of local lore. М. Б. Шатипова.
