Painter, graphic artist, sculptor

Studied painting in private art schools of St. Petersburg, in Odessa school of art (1904 – 1910). As an Illustrator collaborated in the Odessa magazine "Crocodile" (1911 – 1912), "South week" (1912 – 1913) and the newspaper "southern thought" (1911). Participated in exhibitions of the Association of South Russian artists in Odessa (1908 – 1912).

in 1912 he moved to France, settled in Paris. He continued his education at the Ecole des Beaux arts in Paris. Author of genre compositions, portraits, landscapes; wrote to Nudes, he painted a series of erotic graphics; has created a number of sculptural works. In the late 1920-х became famous as a portraitist (portraits of figures of literature and art) and Illustrator.

In 1920-е worked in satirical magazines "Parisian life" ("La Vie Parisienne"), "Fantasia" ("Fantasio"), "Smile" ("La Sourire"), "Magazine of entertainment" ("Le Journal Amousant"), "Paris" ("Paris-plaisirs").

Participated in 1-й Russian exhibition of arts in crafts in London (1921). Exhibited in the Autumn salon (1926), the exhibition of the society of artists of Montparnasse, "La-Орд" (1927), the salon des indépendants (from 1951), the salon of the National Union of arts (1954).
