He exposed his works at exhibitions: 1-й traveling exhibition graphics (1929), works of revolutionary and Soviet themes (1930), reporting of works by artists, seconded to the regions of the industrial building and collective farms (1931), "Artists of the RSFSR for XV years" (1933-1934), Moscow painters / artists (1935, 1937-1940, 1947, 1954, 1956), all-Union art exhibitions (1946, 1950, 1955) in Moscow; national exhibitions of paintings of artists of Kyrgyzstan (1934, 1935, 1936, 1941-1948, 1951, 1957) in the city of Frunze (Bishkek), and others. Participant of many exhibitions of Soviet art abroad, in particular: "Graphics and book art in the USSR" in Amsterdam (1929), Russian art in Riga, Winterthur (both — 1929), Vienna, Berlin (both — 1930), königsberg (1932), Tokyo (1933), London, and cities of England and Scotland (1934), Sofia, Plovdiv and Bucharest (1956) and others. His personal exhibitions were held in Moscow (1940, 1958, 1972).

Honored artist of the RSFSR. The work of the artist is devoted to monograph А. В. Абрамовой "Eugene A. Malein" (Leningrad, 1984).
