Watercolorist, draughtsman, engraver

he Studied at the Imperial Academy of arts (1864-1870); during the years of study was awarded two small silver (1868) and two large silver medals (1869). In 1870 получил the title of class artist of 3-й extent, in 1872 — of class artist of 2-й degree.

Lived in St. Petersburg. Worked primarily as a landscape painter-акварелист. The author of the watercolor: "autumn Linen" (1877), "the Village" (1878), "a fire in the village" (1887), "the alder grove" (1890), "the Last ray" (1892), "Autumn" (1893), "a Ravine in the woods" (1893), "the Tatar hut in the Crimea" (1894), "the Lake" (1895). Performed the etching "the Hut (Landscape with house)" for the album "the First experiments of Russian aquafortistes" (St. Petersburg, 1871).

From 1885 — were exhibited. Participated in exhibitions: the Society of Russian watercolorists (1885-1896, with breaks).

he Taught "light ornaments" at the Drawing school society for the encouragement of arts in St. Petersburg (1870), gave private lessons to the Princess М. К. Тенишевой.

Work is represented in many Museum collections, among them — of the State Russian Museum, State Tretyakov gallery, Penza regional picture gallery of. К. А. Савицкого.
